Yungeen Ace Reacts to Foolio’s Instagram Hack After His Death
3 min readDespite Foolio’s passing, Yungeen Ace has kept their beef alive, even intensifying it. Since Foolio’s death, Ace has released two ruthless diss tracks, “Did It” and “Game Over,” targeting the late rapper. In a bizarre turn of events on June 28, Foolio’s Instagram account was hacked, and the hacker left a comment on one of Ace’s posts.
The hacker commented with a trash can emoji on the music video link for “Game Over.” Given the song’s content, the emoji was a fitting but morbid response, especially since Foolio is no longer around to defend himself. Yungeen Ace noticed the comment and responded without hesitation. He wrote, “You still f*cking with me dude,” followed by two laughing emojis, and added, “I love you 4eva.” This sarcastic “love” highlights the ongoing tension, despite Foolio’s death.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Ace has shown a semblance of care for Foolio. After Foolio survived a 2023 shooting, Yungeen Ace took to Instagram to express his relief, writing, “I’m glad you survived. I love you la bra.” Foolio responded with, “Love you too.” This past interaction suggests that there was potential for peace between the two, despite the celebratory tone Ace has adopted since Foolio’s death.
In a 2021 interview with DJ Vlad, Yungeen Ace hinted at the possibility of squashing the beef but remained non-committal. “I really want what’s best for the city,” he said. “I just want everybody to win, no matter what it is, what it ain’t.” Conversely, Foolio, in his own interview with DJ Vlad, was more hopeful, suggesting the feud might end sooner than later. “It’ll prolly [end] sooner than later,” Foolio said. “You never know what God got planned. I told [Ace] that a couple times. We be talking, time to time.” These sentiments take on a tragic note, given Foolio’s untimely death and Ace’s continued aggression.
Adding to the confusion, Foolio’s Instagram has remained active since the hacking incident. On June 28, a video was posted on Foolio’s account, urging fans to follow his profile. “Aye, this Foolio man,” the video begins. “Go follow my people… I’mma put their app below… go follow [them] right now.” The caption read, “No fuel, no deal. Everything guaranteed.” The unsettling aspect is knowing Foolio himself is not behind these posts.
While Foolio’s social media presence remains perplexing, the search for his killers continues. Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters addressed the ongoing investigation, stating, “These groups – I won’t name them, they know who they are. We’re not going to tolerate any retribution, any revenge… we’re going to watch. We’re going to pay attention to what’s going on.” Despite these efforts, no suspects have been announced, and no arrests have been made.
This situation leaves many questions unanswered. Will Foolio’s account continue to post content? Will the hacker be identified and caught? As the investigation progresses, fans remain eager for updates on the case and any potential resolution of the feud between Yungeen Ace and the late Foolio.
