Green comet has been making all excited as they wish to know if it would be visible or not. You might have known about several comets. However, green comet was found by NASA astronomers who named them after its appearance. But everyone is curious to know if they can see it or not. Well, here’s what we know about the same.

Green comet was discovered orbiting around Jupiter. It was given its name C/2022 E3. However, it was its green-tinted appearance that made it popular as the green comet. While now it’s exciting all as they want to know when they can see it.

Well, the green comet recently came closest to the sun on 12th January 2023. While it is to come closest to earth on 1st February 2023.

Expert’s view on green comet sighting

It was as per Jon Giorgini, the senior analyst at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory that he said that there’s little information on green comet. Last time, it must have been visible from Earth a long time ago. With lots of things yet to be known about green comet. There’s some forecast definitely about it.

As per Giorgini, the green comet might gain a lot of energy. While it may go for another spin around the sun too. It is as per the forecast that it is being considered to be brightest between 31st January to 1st February. It might be visible close to the north star shortly after sunset and can be seen with telescope or binoculars.
