Don Lewis’ family claims that they are being traumatized again by the resurfaced reports alleging that Carole Baskin’s missing first husband is alive.

Don Lewis ‘Still Alive’ report resurfaces

Jack Smith, a spokesperson for Don Lewis’ family issued a statement to TMZ. It came after the resurfaced report went viral saying that he is alive.

He mentioned that Lewis’ daughters firmly believe that he is dead. 

In addition, they are being triggered by the consequences of the resurfaced report that says that their father is supposedly chilling on the beach. 

However, the daughters also confirmed that the resurfaced reports are completely false.

If you didn’t know, someone found an eighteen-month-old unproven report suggesting that Lewis is alive and most likely well.

Meanwhile, Lewis’s daughters are reportedly receiving calls and messages from strangers as well as family members. They are seemingly congratulating the daughters on finding their father. 

However, the constant calls and messages about their father are bringing back bad memories for his daughters.

Lewis’s daughters reveal to the media outlet, ‘While we would certainly welcome the good news of our Dad being found alive. It’s just simply not true.’

Carole Baskin believes that her first husband is still alive

Carole Baskin announced that her missing former husband, Don Lewis, was found alive in Costa Rica. However, the revelation is going viral a year later following the alleged discovery.

Baskin sat down for an interview with ITV’s This Morning talk show in November 2021. She mentioned during the interview that Lewis was not dead after all. It came following the release of the sequel of Tiger King.

She said, ‘One of the really exciting things that came out of ‘Tiger King 2’ is that they produced a letter from Homeland Security.’

Moreover, she continued, ‘It says that a special agent in charge with the FBI at Homeland Security reached out to the sheriff’s detective George [Jorge] Fernandez.’

Baskin added, ‘This had to have happened after 2002 because Homeland Security wasn’t even around until 2002.’

She went on to say, ‘They said my husband, Don Lewis, is alive and well in Costa Rica. And yet all of this drama has been made about me having something to do with his disappearance when Homeland Security has known where he is.’

If you didn’t know, Lewis went missing in 1997 when he was 59 years old. Additionally, he would be nearly 84 if he is still alive.
