American rapper Kanye West recently erased his Instagram presence by deleting all the posts and even though the profile hasn’t been deactivated yet fans are curious of whether it’s because of Virgil Abloh’s death or Kanye’s pleas to get his family back together.
But this isn’t the first time the rapper has gone silent on Instagram. Since he first joined in 2016, Kanye West has deleted his Instagram account a dozen times, until he finally returned in July after the release of his 10th album, Donda.
Fan Theories For Kanye’s Sudden Silence
While many of his fans are upset because of his sudden shut down they have come up with various theories out of which the most plausible ones are – Abloh’s death and Kanye’s desperate attempt to win back Kim.
Many of Kanye’s fans have come up to believe that Kanye West shut down his account because of the death of his close friend and fashion designer Virgil Abloh. It was also reported that Kanye’s latest Sunday Service was dedicated to Virgil as it had come just hours after the designer’s demise.
While many fans stick to the theory of Abloh’s death, a majority of them also believe that Kanye shut down his account only to get back his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
Even though Kim has filed for divorce in February, Kanye seems to be having a difficult time moving on as he recently shared an old snap of the two sharing a kiss, he also went ahead and tagged Kim in the picture.
This theory becomes even more believable as Kanye West cleared his account just days after his 5 minute Thanksgiving prayer Thursday, which stated that he wants to reunite with h is wife, Kim, with whom he had 4 kids namely: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
“All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused,” Kanye prayed in a part. “I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: misactions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me.”
The rapper has also been seen talking about his bipolar disorder episodes which were only heightened due to his heavy intake of alcohol and how his family had to endure it. Eventually, it ended up becoming the main reason behind his divorce.
“I went into a manic episode in 2016 and I was placed under heavy medication,” said Kanye. “Since then, I went on and off the medication which left me susceptible to other episodes, which my wife and family and fans have had to endure.”
But even after Kanye’s repetitive attempts the reality star and ex-wife, Kim, has had no response. Kim is currently dating Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, 28, their relationship seems to be heating up and could be the reason behind Kim’s silence to Kanye.
