However, the festival broke the curfew on all three evenings and went more than their respective deadlines by 25 minutes, 22 minutes, and 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, Coachella promoter Goldenvoice has signed a pact with the city of Indio to follow the city curfew rules.
Additionally, the agreement states that a $20,000 fine will be stipulated if any show stretches beyond the extra initial five minutes over curfew.
Furthermore, the festival organizer has to pay a $1,000 fine for every minute the event ran past the deadline after that.
Besides that, the sum collected from fines is used to finance operations costs of the city such as public services and police and fire departments.

The curfew rules restrict anybody of the age of 18 and under from loitering ‘on or about the public place.’
These rules are not limited to, ‘streets, avenues, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other grounds, places, buildings, places of amusement, eating establishments, public or private vacant lots or any unsupervised place.’
The Code Library says that the minor is restricted from lingering, ‘between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M from Sunday to Thursday and between 11:00 P.M and 5:00 AM on other two days.’
Frank Ocean’s Coachella performance is cut short due to the curfew

According to reports, Ocean began his set an hour late at Coachella. In addition, he was on the stage for over an hour before closing his show twenty minutes past midnight.
He reportedly said, ‘Guys, I’m being told it’s a curfew, so that’s the end of the show. Thank you so much.’
