AstroWorld festival incident had become a nightmare for people over the world. The chaos that occurred on 5th November in Travis Scott’s music festival, AstroWorld, took nine lives. 9th victim to die because of the misconduct that encouraged chaos in the AstroWorld Festival was Bharti Shahani.
Namrata Shahani, sister of the victim Bharti Shahani, started a GoFundMe for getting help from the public by collecting donations. According to the hospital, Bharti was unconscious and there was no brain activity after she suffered the incident at the AstroWorld festival. She got admitted to the hospital in ICU until she died.
Who was Bharti Shahani?
Bharti Shahani, a 22-year-old girl who attended the AstroWorld festival, conducted by Travis Scott at NRG Park, Houston, Texas, became the 9th victim to die after the chaos. That girl’s name was Bharti Shahani who was a student of Texas A&M University. She was pursuing a computer engineering degree and was supposed to complete her graduation in the year 2022.
According to her close ones, she got an internship about which she was very excited. She was planning to join her family business after graduating and invest her efforts in making it grow.
She visited the AstroWorld festival with her cousins, Namrata and Mohit Bellani. During the concert, they lost their company in the crowd after the chaos started. Later, Bharti got injuries during the disturbing environment of that concert.
She is the 9th person who lost their life that day. She shifted to the Houston Methodist Hospital for her check-up as she got hurt and suffered a serious injury in that tragedy.
With a serious health condition, she was at the hospital for one week. She fought for her life but unfortunately lost the battle on 11th November. The news of her death has got confirmation from her parents and sister.
Donation to Bharti Shahani’s GoFundMe
Namrata Shahani, sister of the victim, is handling the GoFundMe campaign, which has raised a donation of $79,000 to date. This donation campaign was initiated by her family two days back for collecting a fund for Bharti Shahani’s recovery. Even after knowing about her death people are still donating funds for supporting her family. You can also donate and support Bharti’s family to survive this tough time of their life.
A note is written on the fundraising page by Bharti’s family as, “the light of our lives.”

Twitter is dealing with numerous tribute posts for Bharti Shahani who died on 11th November, after suffering from serious injuries caused during the AstroWorld festival chaos.
One tweet says, “Wow, another AstroWorld victim. Rip Bharti Shahani.”
Others state, “Her first concert and she died today from the injuries she suffered at the concert. The parents at the press conference completely broke my heart. His mother was distraught, heartbroken, in denial, and she was sad. Rip for you. They stole his life. #Bhartishahani.”
