Yulia Tarasevich, the runner-up in the Mrs. Russia International competition, is unrecognizable after undergoing a botched £3,000 facelift surgery. In addition, she no longer has the ability to close her eyes or smile. The 43-year-old underwent multiple procedures in Krasnodar, including a facelift, liposuction, and blepharoplasty.

According to an interview with the surgeon, she went there to decrease the signs of aging. Her face was unable to be corrected after the botched facelift. She spent £20,000 attempting to correct it.

Yulia Tarasevich now sues doctors Andrey Komarov and Omar Khaled for their involvement in the surgery. According to the surgeons, the woman had a genetic condition known as ‘scleroderma’ that made the botched surgery impossible to predict.

What is a Scleroderma?

The disease Scleroderma is also known as systemic sclerosis. Hardening and tightening of the skin can result in problems with blood vessels, internal organs, and digestion.

The cause of the disease has not yet been identified by medical professionals. An autoimmune condition has been diagnosed as the cause. Inflammation in the body is a result of the immune system, which is supposed to protect one against germs.

In addition to the red spots on the skin, ulcers on the fingertips and toes, pain and stiffness in the joints, shortness of breath, persistent cough, heartburn, constipation, shortness of breath, fatigue, and hair loss, the disease exhibits a broad spectrum of symptoms.

Scleroderma occurs in several parts of the body, so it can be difficult to diagnose. Cleveland Clinic stated that this is because several parts of the body are affected. Lupus or rheumatoid arthritis are often mistaken for the disease.
