In the ongoing saga between Hip-Hop heavyweights Drake and Kendrick Lamar, Joe Budden has taken a firm stance, urging Kanye West to refrain from meddling in the feud.
During the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden didn’t mince words when addressing Kanye’s recent antics, particularly his diss aimed at Drake in the “Like That” remix. Budden asserted that Kanye should step back and let the feud unfold without his interference.
“Kanye, sit your f** ass down somewhere,” Budden exclaimed emphatically. “Mind your f**** business. This is not about you. This is some attention-seeking s*** that you’re doing.”
Joe Budden went on to highlight Kanye’s persistent efforts to insert himself into the conflict, despite having missed his opportunity to engage with Drake directly. He emphasized that Kanye had his chance to respond to Drake but failed to do so, leaving Pusha T as the sole exception.
“It’s not smooth when it’s not your beef,” Budden emphasized. “You are making this all about you when you had a shot already. Move! You are taking attention away from our main event.”
Expressing his preference for Pusha T as the only valid representative from Kanye’s camp to engage in the feud, Budden stressed the importance of staying focused on the primary contenders.
Additionally, Budden addressed Kanye’s recent appearance on Justin LaBoy’s The Download podcast, acknowledging Kanye’s proximity to the situation but cautioning against his involvement in the diss tracks.
“Kanye is the one though that’s been close enough,” Joe Budden acknowledged. “Been in the same rooms, been in the same buildings. He could tell us what’s going on up there and he crazy enough to do it.”
As the tension between Drake and Kendrick Lamar continues to escalate, Budden’s words serve as a reminder to Kanye West and others to respect the boundaries of the feud and avoid unnecessary distractions.
