Gangsta Boo, one of the original Three 6 Mafia members, passed away at the age of 43. Lola Chantrelle Mitchell, aka Gangsta Boo, kept her relationship out of the spotlight. In contrast, avid followers know that she was involved with Emmet Flores for years before she died. On January 1st, she was found dead around 4 pm in her hometown of Memphis. DJ Paul Kom, a former labelmate, confirmed the Southern Rap star’s death on Instagram. Messages of tributary support flooded the comment section.

A source close to Gangsta Boo told TMZ that the singer’s death appeared to be the result of drugs. As she sat in the crowd at a local Memphis concert, she was accompanied by her brother. Overdosing on a substance led to the rapper’s brother being hospitalized. Although the rapper’s sibling survived, narcotics were found on Gangsta Boo, according to sources close to her. In the rapper’s death, “a fentanyl-laced substance” is believed to have played a role. Her death, however, has not been confirmed by the police as a result of this.

Mostly promoting his podcast on his official Instagram page, he has gained over 1,508 followers. In 2022, WEtv’s Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition featured details about the couple’s relationship. Their relationship problems were discussed before Judge Lynn Toler in one episode. Gangsta Boo said she wanted more respect from Flores when asked what she wanted from him. In her words, I want him to hear my voice as a Black woman… he always cuts me off. He also assumes I know everything, so when I am talking, he is already thinking of a response.

According to Emmet Flores, their problems stemmed from his insecurity in situations where he did not have control. During the show, he revealed that certain things you say to me emasculate him. Growing up without a father gave me a lot of insecurities about my manhood. After Gangsta Boo was found to be in possession of narcotics, the pair were kicked off the show. The couple’s room was found to contain contraband by show host Dr Ish Major, a board-certified psychiatrist and television host. While the pair appeared to be dating until her sudden death, despite the heated discussion, they never tied the knot despite spending close to a decade together. Upon being asked about her marriage to her boyfriend, Lola replied, We are not married. Emmet Flores had not publicly acknowledged the loss of his now-deceased girlfriend.
