In December, Trae Tha Truth, whose real name is Frazier O. Thompson, was charged with assault. As of right now, he is out on bond. Z-Ro, whose real name is Joseph McVey, was involved in a fight with a group of men outside the Kim Son restaurant in east downtown Houston on 27th August at 11 p.m., according to court documents.
McVey was contacted by investigators on 3 September in order to follow up on his case. An alleged assault video posted by TMZ on YouTube the day before was found by detectives. Joseph McVey aka Z-Ro is shown in the video covering his face in an effort to protect himself while being hit and kicked. Thompson was identified in the video by police as the man wearing an orange shirt. According to the video, he punched McVey in the head while others hit him as well. According to police, the video also shows two other men they believe assaulted McVey. A piece of jewellery had fallen off McVey’s wrist while he was being assaulted, and one of them picked it up.
Houston Rapper Trae Tha Truth Arrested In Connection With A Fight With Another Rapper
Trae Tha Truth, an American rapper and entrepreneur, was charged with assault on 27th December 2022, relating to an August incident. Trae Tha Truth, also known as Frazier Thompson III, has been accused of sucker punching fellow rapper and cousin Z-Ro, according to various reports. Trae Tha Truth is seen turning himself in to authorities at the Harris County Joint Processing Center in Houston in videos shared online. As reported by Khou 11 News, police were called to the Kim Son Restaurant in Houston following reports of an altercation between the two back in August. An online video of the altercation was found by officers during the investigation.
During an altercation in September 2022, rapper Z-Ro, whose real name is Joseph Wayne McVey IV, reported being assaulted and having jewellery stolen. Video of the incident showed men hitting and kicking Z-Ro while he was lying on the ground, according to investigators. The same was confirmed by Z-Ro as well. In the video, Trae Tha Truth is seen assaulting Z-Ro and his team while wearing an orange ABN shirt. There is also a video showing a member of Trae Tha Truth’s team stealing a golden chain from him. In accordance with the publication, the Houston rapper Trae has been released from jail after posting a bond of $100 for assault. On January 6th 2023, Trae Tha Truth is scheduled to appear in court.
