Who is Dana Rodriguez? Culinary Expert Set to Head Denver’s Iconic ‘Casa Bonita’

Casa Bonita was recently acquired by South Park creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Casa Bonita (Spanish for a pretty house) is a famous chain of Mexican-themed restaurants. The restaurant is great for spending time with kids and is full of entertaining things. The new owners of the Lakewood restaurant broke the news that they’re partnering with Dana Rodriguez.
About Dana Rodriguez-
Dana Rodriguez is Ameican-Mexican and she owns two restaurants in Denver-Work & Class and Super Mega Bien. She has also been nominated three times for the James Beard award.
Dana is famous for her culinary skills and people love her. Fans were thrilled at the opening of the restaurant after 20 months and now that Dana will be the head chef, they couldn’t be happier.
Dana’s early life was filled with hardships. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved to Colorado while she was very young and started as a dishwasher at Panzano. Panzano is an Italian restaurant in Hotel Monaco.
Her life took a turn when she was introduced to chef Jennifer Jasinski when she worked at Panzano, Dana then started learning culinary skills.
What Dana Rodriguez Has To Say On Being The Head Chef-
In an interview recently, Dana Rodriguez talked about her plans on working at the restaurant and said she wants to, “improve everything, but change nothing.”
“I want people to get excited about the food. Obviously, the food wasn’t great, and that’s something we all remember. We’re going to make everything one thousand times better, keeping the same essence,” the culinary expert added.
She also said that she is going to bring a lot more Mexican flavours and is very excited to start this new journey. Dana believes in giving her customers exactly “what they think they’re getting in their mind” she believes that this will give them the best experience while they will definitely love the food.
People who’re thinking of going to the restaurant can also expect new and different drinks too! Dana is all set to take charge and make things a lot better. She also plans on bringing Sopapillas and will keep everything pocket-friendly but delicious.
Talking of cliff divers, mariachi, and arcade, the chef said that she plans to change none of that. She wants the essence to be there and yes, people will see gorillas walking around the place!
