When Is Wood’s Due Date

Beckham Jr. said he planned on being there when Wood’s son was born during the Super Bowl weekend when asked about the possibility of her giving birth over the weekend.

He told The New York Post, “I don’t need you to put that energy in the air about the Saturday night or the Sunday thing. I think God has a different plan.” He said that it’s not needed during the Super Bowl. “I want to see my child being born, so I’m on watch.”

Odell Beckham Jr. told the Associated Press, “Literally my phone is right here just in case, so I am on call. I am on watch. I am ready to go.”

Attempting to catch a pass from Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, Beckham Jr. went out injured during the second quarter. After the play was whistled dead, Beckham Jr. rolled to the ground in apparent pain and was helped to the sidelines.

Before halftime, Odell Beckham Jr. briefly entered the medical tent before heading to the locker room. Before ruling him out, his team deemed him questionable to return.
