Beckham Jr. said he planned on being there when Wood’s son was born during the Super Bowl weekend when asked about the possibility of her giving birth over the weekend.
He told The New York Post, “I don’t need you to put that energy in the air about the Saturday night or the Sunday thing. I think God has a different plan.” He said that it’s not needed during the Super Bowl. “I want to see my child being born, so I’m on watch.”
Odell Beckham Jr. told the Associated Press, “Literally my phone is right here just in case, so I am on call. I am on watch. I am ready to go.”
