He admitted that he recently fell and broke his leg, and he may have difficulty recovering fully. He will have to go through surgery for treatment. Hawk shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday about breaking his leg on Monday.

Hawk shared a photo of his x-ray and a video of himself in the hospital after breaking his femur. In the caption, Hawk said his age and the severity of the injury make recovery more difficult than previous injuries. The 53-year-old said that he is ready to do whatever it takes but it is not going to be easy.

He broke his leg while he was skating. However, it is unclear as to what exactly had happened. Hawk says he will skate until he’s physically unable to do so any longer. This injury might jeopardize his ability to do so. However, Hawk has already begun planning his comeback despite the serious injury. Moreover, he posted a picture and video that show him putting weight on the fractured leg just one day later.
