It was reportedly in 2021 when Jeff Wittek suffered a serious eye injury following a stunt by “ The Vlog Squad”. The Vlog Squad is a friend’s team of David Dobrik with whom Dobrik often posts videos on TikTok. Why Dobrik got slammed for the eye injury of Jeff was because it was due to a crane operated by Dobrik that Jeff suffered a critical eye injury.

Jeff Wittek’s injury made him nearly lose one of his eyes. However, it was only after that incident that the relationship between Jeff and David became sore when they finally broke the connection with each other publicly.

David Dobrik apologizes for the Jeff Wittek eye injury
While Jeff went to another surgery for his injured eye, it’s Dobrik who has spoken about the whole stunt that cost Jeff too much. In his recent videos on YouTube, Dobrik shared how Jeff suggested he operate the excavator.

He also shared that he badly wants to correct the things that happened when Jeff got hurt. He went on to share that the accident was the worst situation of his life ever and that he never wanted to do it to anybody. Making an apology to Jeff in the video, he has tried to explain that it was just an accident and nothing else.

It was evident that Dobrik was explaining the whole accident things to tell how he was wrongly made accountable for it. However, his apology seems to have not been accepted well by the fans. Some of them commented that Dobrik made the video just to show he wasn’t responsible for all that happened to Jeff.
