This New Year’s eve has left people shattered after learning about Lil Devin’s death. As per sources, the rapper was killed on 31st December 2021, Friday, during a New Year’s party that was hosted at his family’s house. The officials have confirmed that when they were informed about the incident the rapper was found injured badly on his chest. The real name of the rising rapper was Devin Swain and was popular with his stage name Lil Devin.
He was admitted to the hospital in Anderson, Indiana. He was pronounced dead in the hospital because of the injuries that he had suffered from the attack. At the time of his death, Lil Devin was only 24-years-old.
The police officers of Anderson were reported about the home invasion and robbery at Lil Devin’s family’s place in the Lockerbie Court apartment complex. The men who attacked the rapper were wearing masks. They entered Lil Devin’s house in a group. After hitting the rapper they ran away before the cops arrived at the crime scene.
Who was Lil Devin?
Lil Devin was an American rapper whose real name was Devin Swain. He was raised in Anderson, Indiana and later he shifted to Los Angeles, California. Recently, he stayed in Malibu also. Lil Devin has started his rapping career during the years 2016-2017 when he was 19 years old. He used to release his songs on YouTube.
In 2018, the rapper released his mixtapes along with some singles often. As per sources, Lil Devin dropped his first-ever album named 448gz, which was reportedly consisted of 23 tracks. The next album he released was named Still Getting’ off, Vol 1, which was also released in the year 2018. The latter album had 8 tracks.
In the year 2020, Lil Devin released another music album named 4eva ME that had 15 tracks. Following this, his last album was released in the year 2021 which was named 900 vet, with 18 songs.
The rapper was associated with TenToesEntertainment, a hip-hop event organizer and promoting venture.
Lil Devin’s Family’s Statement on his Killing
As per Fox 59, Lil Devin’s brother Donald Cox said,” it was traumatic, very traumatic, something that I would not want anyone to ever go through… I would not wish that on anyone’s family.”
Rashawn Samuels, Lil Devin’s mentee, said, “he was a good person, and he was all about all the kids staying in school, doing good, listening to your parents. Lil Devin was a good, respectful, loving person. He did not deserve it. He was a good person.”
Fans and close ones of Lil Devin are offering condolences on social media to his family and friends. As per Anderson police, the investigation is going on as the identities of intruders are still unknown.
