According to TMZ, Heather McDonald collapsed on stage while performing on February 6 at her comedy show in Tempe, Arizona. Despite trying her best, the 51-year-old comedian could only deliver one joke before she fainted.

“So I’m in the hospital emergency room. I look weird.” The comedian, 51, posted a video taken from her hospital bed on Instagram Stories that apologized for her condition.

“I Did One Joke And I Felt Dizzy”

After she stood up and told a joke, McDonald immediately felt dizzy. After pointing to her bruised and swollen eye, she said, “I feel so bad.”

She was also taken to the hospital after hitting her head during the fall, according to TMZ. A first-aid nurse from the audience claimed to have run onto the stage to help the young woman. She was then treated by paramedics who had arrived at the venue.
