What happened to D-Roc?
During the Ying Yang Twins’ performance at a Vanilla Ice concert, D-Roc passed out on stage. The sad situation happened over the weekend at the Ozark Empire Fair in Missouri while D-Roc and Kaine, the other half of the pair, were performing on stage. According to TMZ, the rapper collapsed to the ground as security personnel rushed to help him.
Speaking of performers passing out on stage, Carlos Santana’s fans were alarmed when, in the middle of his performance, in July 2022, he lost consciousness.
Heather McDonald has been through the same situation
In February 2022, comedian Heather McDonald broke his skull after suffering a similar fate during his comedy performance. When singer Wonho experienced a little hitch on stage in November 2002, K-pop fans voiced their concern. While performing, he passed out on stage. A few witnesses described how BTS members passed out backstage in 2017 during a strenuous practice session in March 2020.
What was the reason for D-Roc passing out?
While it was first believed that the weather may not have been a factor in the accident, D-Roc from the Ying Yang Twins’ Instagram page disproved the claims that he passed out because it was so hot. He admitted in the video that while he continued to drink water, it did not really help. The caption he used to thank his admirers read:
“I want to thank everyone who has called, texted, or otherwise gotten in touch with me to see how I’m doing. I am doing well. CA #Ontario We’ll see you at the 00s Playlist Concert on Saturday.
Back in 2017, there were reports of a similar incident. According to TMZ, Kaine from the Ying Yang Twins had to be helped off the stage because he could hardly stand upright. The second member of the rap group was seen staggering around the stage with a group of female friends. He seemed drunk at the time. Kaine was taken off the stage three times, but he kept making his way back.
