Ariana Grande took to TikTok to promote the latest collection of her R.E.M. Beauty line on 28th July.
The singer is launching the Sweetener Concealer which will mark the brand’s fourth major product. The upcoming concealer will be available in 60 shades.
The 29-year-old singer went live on the platform to showcase her new range of ‘Out of Body’ concealers.
However, during the live, many fans complained about the musician for ditching her music career.
A person wrote, ‘Pls remember you’re a singer.’
The 7 rings songstress was not the least bothered by the accusations as she calmly responded by saying, ‘I have actually never felt more at home in my voice or like more of a singer.’ She added the four bubble emojis with a smiley face.
The Thank you, next singer has been demonstrating her upcoming product before the episode.
She shared, ‘I’ve been using it secretly for a year now. We’ve developed 60 shades of the sweetener concealer, including two artistry shades of black and white.’
Fans react to Ariana Grande’s response
While they were some users who accused Ariana Grande of her promoting R.E.M. Beauty, many fans quickly came to defend their idol during TikTok live.
One person wrote, ‘Leave her alone lmao, not every video has to have people reminding her she’s not making music.’
Moreover, another chimed in saying, ‘Arianators let Ariana do what makes her happy challenge!’
The Side To Side artist launched R.E.M. Beauty Line last year. She started with a product lineup that contained lip gloss, matte and metallic eyeshadows, and much more. It was priced from $16-$24.
What is Ariana Grande up to currently?
Although Ariana Grande has not released a full-length studio album since Positions in 2020, the artist is preparing for her role as Glinda the Good Witch.
She is set to appear in a forthcoming movie which is an adaptation of Broadway’s hit musical Wicked.
The news broke out in November last year. The film will include stars such as Cynthia Erivo who will be featuring Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West.
