Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, Flea, responded to the news with sincere tribute: My dear companion, my brother I miss you to such an extent. I’m crushed today, a river of tears, yet for my entire life, I will love consistently. The first time I saw you play with the DK’s in ’81 you took my breath away. The power, the spirit, the foolishness. You turned into my darling companion, so often of each and every sort. We had a good time, such a lot of happiness, having each other’s backs. I love you with my entire being. You are the most genuine rocker and a significant part of rhcp history. D H P in the spot to be, you live always in our souls, you wild man, you carrier of bliss, you giant-hearted man. I will constantly respect you.
