During his hospitalization for pneumonia last month, Bam Margera suffered a series of seizures and was declared dead. An interview with the former skateboarding pro was aired on Thursday’s episode of Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast, he discussed a “gnarly” case of COVID-19 as the cause of his health ailment. It took my body 10 to 20 minutes for me to go into four seizures – each one lasting 10 to 20 minutes, the fourth one almost causing me to lose my tongue. I went on my fifth seizure when the shaman took me to the hospital, I couldn’t breathe without a tube down my throat because it was swollen and puffy, and wouldn’t fit in my mouth. I also had pneumonia from drinking infected blood, so I could not even drink water without a tube.

After being in the hospital for eight days, the former “Jackass” star woke up five days later thinking it had only been a few hours. He joked that after they took out that tube, he felt like he sucked on Darth Vader’s d–k. My daily diet consisted of tea and lozenges. Steve-O said he thought Margera would die after seeing him on a ventilator, even though Margera is now able to joke about it. Then he added with a laugh, F-king Bam better not die. He’s on my tour, he’ll ruin everything! Margera said that he “didn’t have an out-of-body experience” but rather “blacked out” and had no memory of almost dying or having his heart stop.
