Bam Margera, star of Jackass, is reportedly in the hospital suffering from pneumonia. The 43-year-old, according to TMZ on Friday, tested positive for COVID-19 in the hospital earlier this week. His condition is stable, but he has been put on a ventilator and is in the ICU. After being put on a court-ordered drug and alcohol treatment program for drug abuse this year, Margera has struggled with mental health issues. Over the summer, the former skateboarder attempted to escape rehab twice after being diagnosed with manic bipolar disorder in 2019. Bam Margera’s treatment program has been restructured by a judge and no longer requires him to reside in an inpatient facility, according to TMZ.

However, he still had to go to classes and continue seeing a psychiatrist, according to reports. A number of people close to Bam Margera have expressed concern about his well-being since his court order was never completed, TMZ reported on Friday. Following his temporary healthcare guardianship in August, Bam’s family posted an Instagram statement addressing his troubles. Several rumours claimed Margera’s family forced him to enter the facility, leading his fans to launch the Free Bam Movement. Additionally, Jackass 3D’s star sued Paramount over Jackass Forever’s credits. His name was featured in the 45th position among 49 names in the archive footage during the credits. His contract was terminated due to his alcohol addiction.
