What Happened Between Jackson Mahomes and Sot Bar Restaurant? Drama Explained

Kansas Metropolis’s SoT restaurant and Jackson Mahomes, brother of Patrick Mahomes, got into an argument that sparked some social media drama.
The social media character has gained a large following on TikTok and Instagram. Jackson’s words were also quick to gain a wide range of followers with this thought in mind.
SoT, the restaurant Jackson talked about in his now-deleted Instagram post, was not pleased with it and decided to dish it out.
Sot Bar Drama and Jackson Mahomes Explained
In his social media review, Jackson Mahomes, who has over 255k followers on TikTok, reviews SoT. His post mentioned having a bad experience and asked if his followers had the same experience.
After this, he posted screenshots of the negative responses that he had received. SoT was not pleased with this and took to social media immediately to voice their displeasure.
How Did The Restaurant React?
The restaurant posted an overview of what happened on their Facebook page and criticized Jackson Mahomes for his post.
The statement read: “Dear @jacksonmahomes. We are sorry that we set boundaries that you tried to ignore. Oftentimes people with un-earned status and a sense of entitlement think they are above the rules and will lash out at the employee enforcing them.”
“We survived a global pandemic and we’ll survive your ego”, as they continued, saying they apologized for not being able to seat his very large group. They were sorry that he had the access to so much power. Or at least that he used it to harm a small company.
In the post, they stated that they are sorry he did not contact them before taking to social media. But then again that is what they would expect from a mature, rational individual, not someone who plasters water on fans and dances on memorials of tragically deceased people all for TikTok clout. They mentioned that they were not fortunate enough to have been born into a talented or famous family, but they think that if they did, they would use their influence in a more responsible way. In closing, the statement said: “We hope our apology finds you well.
One More Apology From The Restaurant
The restaurant responded quickly to the initial apology by making another assertion. The post read: “Yesterday, we launched an “apology” that was something, however genuine.” It acknowledged that the team at SoT is dedicated to providing each individual who walks by means of our doorways with one of the best experiences while treating them with dignity and respect. “Yesterday, we failed to satisfy these expectations.” the apology read.
Their write-up concluded by stating that they were aware of their shortcomings in this case and that they certainly failed to meet not only their own but also many of our followers’ expectations with their social media presence yesterday. “We promise to do higher.”
Jackson Mahomes has not said anything as of now.
