Emma Broyles, Miss Alaska, was crowned Miss America on Thursday, 16th of December 2021. Camille Schrier was the former Miss America. She reigned for two years. Eventually, on the occasion of the 100th event conducted by the Miss America Organization. The event was at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Connecticut and telecasted live on Peacock.
After a year-long gap due to the pandemic, the event was finally organized. Miss America took place last year but it was a virtual event. The competition was as well delayed. However, Miss America, Emma Broyles, this year, was crowned by Camille Schrier.

On the other hand, after receiving the crown, Emma even claimed a college scholarship for $100,000.
The Miss America 2022 competed with 51 contestants who represented 50 districts and states in Columbia. According to reports, Emma took a break for 4 years from all pageants and events. She participated this year expecting to win Miss Alaska 2021. In addition to competing in the Miss America pageant and working with the Special Olympics, Emma also supports young girls and helps out with various pageants and events.
