What Did Elon Musk Tweet About 50 Cent And His Debut Album? Explained
2 min readSince buying Twitter, Elon Musk has been on fire.
We’ve seen several viral posts in the last few days, some of which were posted by the Tesla owner himself.
However, on April 28, 50 Cent sent a tweet that looks to be from Elon’s verified account and talks about the rapper’s debut album.
Instagram post by 50 Cent goes viral
After tweeting a screenshot of a tweet on Thursday, 50 Cent took to Instagram to express his respect for Elon Musk.
Elon tweeted on April 27, with the caption “Now I’m going to buy all commercial gyms and replace their sh**ty playlists with Get Rich or Die Tryin.” A fire and strength emoji was added to the tweet.
“This guy is the best, learn to love me like the big guys before it’s to (too) late for you,” 50 Cent said in his own post.
In just a few hours, the message received over 360,000 likes, and fans have backed the tweet, which appears to be from the new Twitter CEO himself.
Elon Musk talked on Twitter about getting rich or die trying?
No, Elon Musk did not actually share 50 Cent’s Instagram tweet
If you look through Elon’s verified Twitter profile, you won’t see the above tweet.
So far, he’s kept all of his tweets about buying other businesses, including the well-discussed one about Coca-Cola and cocaine.
Furthermore, this isn’t the first time a false tweet has surfaced. It’s gone viral or convinced people because it’s photoshopped to look like it’s from Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
The billionaire himself posted a false post claiming he was going to buy McDonald’s. “Listen, I can’t do miracles, okay,” he said, laughing.
Fans are caught up in the fake tweet
While Elon has yet to respond to or make a joke about the 50 Cent tweet, some people believe he did indeed talk about replacing all gym music with 50 Cent’s debut album.
According to Twitter comments, supporters would be ecstatic if Elon actually accomplished that.
One ecstatic admirer said, “Fully support this proposal @elonmusk@50cent.”

“Oh my goodness, I really hope this happens.” Another said, “I’m going to check Twitter.”
“I’m with you, Elon,” said another. “He’s the GOAT,” says the narrator.
