Subsequently, a source reported,  ‘They turned their backs on her.’

They further claimed that Debmar-Mercury, ‘had too much control over someone so vulnerable.’

Additionally, Williams’ former husband Kevin Hunter had made similar claims during an interview this past July.

Meanwhile, Hunter also recalled the time when Williams’ family met with the production company to discuss her struggle with drinking. However, instead of helping her, Debmar-Mercury allegedly gave her an ultimatum.

He revealed, ‘They sat in a meeting with her whole family, including her now-deceased mom, and would not sign off on the recovery efforts that would’ve helped Wendy also get well and live and be sober.’

Hunter continued, ‘They basically said, “If you don’t stop drinking, you’re going to lose the show.”‘
