Wendy Williams has broken her silence on the shocking legal case surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs, addressing the disturbing allegations against the music mogul. In an interview with the Daily Mail on October 1, the former talk show host, who has long been vocal about her opinions on Diddy, expressed horror at the news and the security footage showing Diddy allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie (Cassandra Ventura).

“What is really weird is that I have been told by so many people, ‘Wendy, you called it,’” said Williams, 60. “Including some people from my family who have said the same.” Williams has a history of being critical of Diddy throughout her career, and the latest allegations have only reinforced her stance. Reflecting on the footage of Diddy allegedly beating Cassie in a hotel lobby, she added, “It is about time. To see this video on TV of [Cassie] getting pummeled… it was just horrific.”

Williams, who has faced her own health battles in recent years, did not hold back in sharing her views on the situation. “But now you have to think, how many more times? How many people? How many more women? It’s just so horrible.” She expressed both horror and vindication, suggesting that the current lawsuits against Diddy are long overdue.

Williams’ commentary comes as the allegations against Diddy escalate. The music mogul was arrested last month on charges including racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion. He is also accused of transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution. While Diddy has denied all allegations and pleaded not guilty, he remains in jail at the Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail twice. His legal team has filed an appeal to overturn the ruling, but the case continues to draw national attention.

The scandal deepened when a Texas law firm revealed during a press conference that Diddy is facing accusations from 120 victims, including 60 men and 60 women, with 25 alleging they were minors at the time of the incidents. Lawyer Tony Buzbee claimed that some of the names of the victims will be a “shock” as they are “people we all know.” Despite the mounting allegations, Diddy’s attorney, Erica Wolff, issued a statement dismissing the claims. “He cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” Wolff said. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

Williams’ relationship with Diddy has been complicated over the years. Their feud dates back to the 1990s, when Williams spoke out against Diddy on her Hot 97 radio show. She has long suggested that Diddy played a role in her 1998 firing from the station. In the years that followed, Williams found success as the host of The Wendy Williams Show

, where she continued to discuss Diddy’s public and private life, from his multiple name changes to his tumultuous relationship with Cassie.

One notable moment in their fraught relationship occurred in 2017, when Diddy appeared on Williams’ show to promote a documentary. Despite their tense history, they seemingly resolved their issues on air. “I know I piss off a lot of people, including you, but this is a full-circle moment,” Williams said after Diddy acknowledged her role as one of the first female hip-hop journalists.

However, Williams’ recent comments suggest that the peace between them may not have lasted. Reflecting on Diddy’s past behavior, she noted during a 2015 episode of her show, “When you date a mogul, it’s really difficult to avoid them… He can hire a plane right now… pay people off at the front desk, ‘Give me a key and let me up in her room.’ I’m already paranoid as a person.”

With the case against Diddy still unfolding, Wendy Williams’ decision to speak out has once again positioned her at the center of public discourse, as fans and followers await further updates on the disturbing allegations facing the hip-hop mogul.
