A brawl broke out among many audience members in a UK theatre at an early screening of the eagerly awaited horror flick Five Nights at Freddy’s (2023). Following the end credits, a group of audience members is seen hitting another guest while remaining seated in their seats, according to a video provided by a Twitter user calling Mikey. As shouts can be audible throughout the theatre, more individuals appear to be fighting the fight with their cellphones. Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF) has become one of the most well-known horror video game franchises. The simple gameplay, creepy animatronics, & surprisingly complex lore of Scott Cawthon’s FNaF series have positioned it among the most popular independent video games of all time, influencing over a dozen different titles as well as developing one of the internet’s most loyal fanbases.

Naturally, Hollywood would want to make a movie out of the narrative of these mechanical monstrosities, & fans already feel excited. The Five Nights at Freddy’s film, made by Blumhouse Productions and directed by Emma Tammi, is expected to be the top horror film of 2023. While the film’s early reviews were widely divided, there is a good chance that avid supporters will make it into a smash hit. However, during an early screening in Acton, London, another kind of hit occurred. Reactions on social media have ranged from people being startled that FNaF supporters would fight throughout the film to people being upset that portions of the end credits were spoiled for them notwithstanding the video being only a few seconds long.

Fight Breaks Out At Josh Hutcherson’s Five Nights At Freddy’s Early Screening

A battle broke out during an early showing of the Five Nights at Freddy’s film, with many viewers tussling in the front row. After more than a decade as a renowned horror gaming brand, Five Nights at Freddy’s gets the Hollywood treatment with a film adaptation. The FNAF film brings the video games to life on the big screen, featuring Josh Hutcherson from The Hunger Games and Matthew Lillard from Hackers in a cat-and-mouse game between ghostly robotic animal mascots and humans struggling to survive the night shift. The picture, which is set to be released on October 26 in the United States, has received reportedly mixed reviews from audiences and reviewers alike — and it doesn’t appear like one theatre full of moviegoers had a pleasant time. One theatregoer captured an all-out fight during an early screening of the horror film in Acton, London, in a video that quickly went viral on social media.

The brief footage depicts a group of people trading punches in the front row of a movie theatre while the credits play in the background. Because everyone’s phones were out with the flash on, it appears like most of the fighters were also filming. What triggered the brawl? The guy who posted the video claims not to know but admits that the majority of the crowd was unhappy with the film. “Everyone in the theatre was just grumbling and they began to argue at the very end of the movie,” they stated in a post on Twitter/X. “Truthfully, I have no idea what happened.” It’s not the first time a brawl has broken out during the opening weekend of a major film. Over the summer, two women got into an argument after seeing the Barbie film when a lady refused to quiet her child during the screening. In another theatre squabble, two women spoiled The Little Mermaid by fighting.
