Vivica A. Fox revealed that she has not spoken to Jada Pinkett Smith ever since she criticized the actress’ response to Will Smith’s Oscar slap.

Here is everything you need to know.

Vivica A. Fox explains her side of the story

Vivica A. Fox recently talked with People magazine during the premiere of The Great Wolf Pack: A Call to Adventure at Great Wolf Lodge. The event took place in Garden Grove, California on Tuesday.

Moreover, during the interview, Fox admitted that she has not contacted Jada Pinkett Smith after she called her out.

Regardless, it seems like Fox does not harbor any ill feelings toward Jada Pinkett Smith’s husband Will Smith.

She said, ‘I think they’re just really going through a season of healing right now.’

The 58-year-old actress added, ‘Listen, I love Will Smith. He’s one of my favorite people on the planet. We all make mistakes. If there’s one person that deserves a second chance, it is him. I think he’s taken full accountability for his actions and he apologized.’

Vivica A. Fox chastised Jada Pinkett Smith’s reaction

Vivica A. Fox made headlines when she appeared on The Wendy Williams Show back in June.

During the episode, the South Bend native tearfully responded to Jada Pinkett Smith’s statement over the incident.

Fox claimed, ‘I just wish we could have just a little more accountability and for it to not seem so self-righteous on Jada’s part, and that’s my feelings.’

If you didn’t know, Jada addressed her husband’s actions at the Red Table Talk earlier in June.

The Daytime Emmy Award winner said at that time, ‘My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile. With the state of the world today, we need them both.’

Meanwhile, Will Smith shocked the world when he slapped presenter Chris Rock at the Oscars ceremony held on 27th March 2022. Regardless, later that evening he went on to bag the Best Actor award for his role in King Richard.

Following the incident, the Men in Black actor received major backlash. He was banned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the next decade.
