Officials have announced that the vehicle found by YouTubers Adventures With Purpose contained the body of missing teen Kiely Rodni.

Cops have confirmed that Kiely Rodni’s body was located in a reservoir
Nevada County law enforcement recently released a statement regarding the disappearance of Californian teen Kiely Rodni.
They confirmed that Rodni’s body was recovered from the submerged car in Prosser Lake over the weekend.
The Placer County Sheriff’s Office took to Facebook to update the people on the case.
They wrote, ‘The Nevada County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the decedent as 16-year-old Kiely Rodni, of Truckee.’
They further added, ‘The Placer County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office are in communication with Kiely’s family. We offer our deepest condolences to them during this extremely difficult time.’
The announcement comes after the specialty dive team Adventures With Purpose discovered a sunken vehicle in Prosser Creek Reservoir near Truckee.
The volunteer group is a popular search-and-rescue dive team that helps families locate their missing loved ones.
Nevada County Sheriff’s Captain Sam Brown mentioned that the car was overturned and was nearly 14 feet beneath the lake’s surface.
He also added that the cops had searched the reservoir previously and gave more than ‘15,000 man hours’ into the investigation.

Kiely Rodni seemingly disappeared from a campground party in Prosser around three weeks ago on 16th August. The party was held to celebrate high school graduation and included more than 100 guests.
Rodni last texted her mother around 12:30 am informing her that she was on her way back home to Truckee.
Meanwhile, Rodni’s family issued a statement on Monday to thank everyone for their support during the search.
They shared, ‘We have weathered a storm of unfathomable force, and it is purely thanks to the army of warriors, matriarchs, healers, and helpers holding us up that we continue to stand today.’
The statement further mentioned, ‘While we accept this sadness cast under death’s shadow, the rising sun shines light upon us, reminding us not to mourn our loss, but to celebrate Kiely’s spirit and the gift that we all received in knowing her. Kiely will surely remain with us even though we will not get her back.’
Nevertheless, the sheriff’s office is yet to reveal the reason behind Rodni’s death. They have claimed that the investigation is still ongoing.
