The British socialist who is 59-year-old is still on the trial. He was accused of caring for young girls who were convicted of the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
On November 29, 2021, she was in court in New York to begin her trial. This was just a day after Virgil’s death was announced.
A screenshot that is supposed to be of a document of the Southern District of New York Court went viral on Twitter. It claims that Virgil is also a “suspect” for Ghislaine Maxwell.
In court events, a “suspect” is the one who is accused of committing some crime. Therefore the document on Twitter claims him to be Ghislaine’s co-conspirator.
Kanye West, The Walt Disney Company, Def Jam Recordings, and Beyonce are a few of the other alleged “suspects” on the list.
Virgil Was Not The True Suspect In Ghislaine Maxwell’s Trial
It has been confirmed that the document that’s all over Twitter is fake. Confirming Virgil, as well as all the other people on the list, are not the suspects in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial.
All of it was misinformation that gathered a lot of social media attention. This was all after an internet user photoshopped the original court document’s title to make it look alarmingly real.
If you type in the case number stated at the top of the document going viral on Twitter “Case 1:20-cv-07102-UA” on Google, you will figure out that it is actually a document for a case called “Latham et al v. The 1953 Trust et al“.This trial had taken place in August of 2020. It does list the 38 defendants in the photo, but it has nothing to do with the Ghislaine Maxwell trial at all. Surprisingly it relates to Jeffrey Epstein.
The “Latham et al v. The 1953 Trust et al” case was filed with respect to Jeffrey Epstein’s 1953 Trust which he set up and placed all his property in. This was more than $577 million, before his death.
Documents reveal that the course dissolved the civil case against 38 people. This list included high-profile celebrities, as ‘shallow’ and it is now closed.
The News Flooding Twitter Is Fake
When the screenshot went viral on Twitter, many people thought that Virgil Abloh was actually a suspect in the case of Ghislaine Maxwell. All were very shocked by the information which is false.
One of the users wrote that he is sorry and he hates to be that. But he finds it very strange that Virgil was suspected in the Ghislaine Maxwell case and then dies of a rare disease.
Another user added that he was going crazy thinking that Virgil died shortly after he was named on Ghislaine Maxwell’s list because of a rare type of cancer.
A third user said that Virgil Abloh died today. Virgil was also named a suspect in the continuing Ghislaine Maxwell trial. The user sarcastically said that it was not very strange.
