US Capital under Lockdown due to Gunfire and External Security Threat

US Lockdown: On Friday, The US Capitol Police locked down the U.S

. Capital after gunshots in the area.  Police also confirmed that two police officers have been harmed after a vehicle try to run through a security checkpoint.

All Capitol buildings were being secured “because of an outside security danger” and staff individuals were told they couldn’t enter or leave the buildings.

Due to this External Security threat all US. the capitol building has been locked down entry and exit permitted at this time.
