It all began after some social media users termed the date connecting it with the criminal act of sexual assault. The day 24th of April signified National Ra*e Day, however, has no existence as a national holiday officially.
The day however trends warning all to stay safe on this day creating a kind of fear. Some believe it was also because of some videos posted on TikTok that this date has been glorified for criminal se*ual acts or similar things.

However, the statement that came out from the spokesperson of the platform said “Keeping our community safe is our priority, and we do not tolerate content that promotes or glorifies non-consensual se*ual acts including ra*e and se*ual assault. While we have not found evidence on our platform of any videos related to this subject, our safety team is remaining vigilant and we will remove content that violates our policies”.
