Trey Songz Denies Rape Assault Allegation Made by Former UNLV Basketball Player Dylan Gonzalez

Dylan Gonzalez, a former basketball player at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, has come forward to claim that Trey Songz raped her and caused her “unbearable PTSD.” 

A potential lawsuit against the singer is also being handled by an attorney hired by her. Dylan’s source told us the incident occurred several years ago.

Additionally, Dylan’s attorneys told the site that they are currently considering all legal options. They hope to take action within the next couple of weeks, including filing a civil suit if necessary. The statement makes no mention of filing a police report or charging anyone with criminal offenses.

On January 11, Gonzalez wrote a lengthy statement on Instagram explaining that the endless recurrence of news of Trey Songz’s alleged sexual exploits has caused her to process. She has relived the long-suppressed horror of being raped by his hands at a prestigious Las Vegas hotel for anew.

Gonzalez Encouraged Victims Of Sexual Abuse As Well

As she continued her post, she wished all victims of sexual assault and its fatal nature “love, strength, and hope”. Her words read, “You are not alone.”

She asserted that silence only emboldens our oppressors, and we cannot heal wh at we do not reveal.

Gonzalez tweeted the following on New Year’s Eve: “Trey Songz is a rapist.” I couldn’t let that stand.
According to PEOPLE, Gonzalez’s legal team, George Vrabeck and Ariel Mitchell, have notified Songz that they will file a lawsuit in the coming weeks.

Trey Songz’s Rep Denied The Allegations

Trey Songz’s rep told TMZ that he and his team are confident that there will be ample evidence to exonerate him in the coming weeks.

The allegations against him are not the first time they have been made. Songz was involved in a sexual assault incident that was reported to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in November last year. It allegedly occurred at the South Las Vegas Hotel.

Last November, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a sexual assault taking place at the 3700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. It was allegedly committed by Songz.

Songz allegedly “secretly filmed” Keke Palmer for a music video in 2017, after which he “put her in the video against my wishes.”

Dylan and Dakota were both former college basketball players at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. As of 2020, they signed with the New Orleans Gators.

In addition to becoming a free agent, Dylan has also launched a music career. She was a star on the UNLV women’s basketball team before getting into music.

Trey is already under investigation in connection with a separate alleged sexual assault in Vegas.
