According to recent reports, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are in a disagreement over the former’s way of handling his initial decision of retirement.
As per rumors, Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s quarterback and his team are gearing up to open the upcoming campaign at the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.
However, the 42-year-old former model is upset about her husband’s decision to play another season in the NFL.
Furthermore, a source closer to the 45-year-old professional athlete confirmed that there are indeed problems between the longtime couple.
They said, ‘There’s a lot of tension. She was so happy when he announced his retirement, and she wasn’t thrilled at all when he went back on that.’
Moreover, the insider added, ‘They’re hitting a rough patch. But I know they’re trying, or at least he’s trying, to figure it out and make it work. He wants to get through this and for things to get better.’
Previous rumors over Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s spat
Speculations about a possible rift between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen increased after the former was excused from training last month.
Furthermore, Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles mentioned during a press conference that he had, ‘to deal with some personal things.’
However, Brady talked about his mysterious 11-day break following the Buccaneers’ preseason game against the Colts.
He said, ‘Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives.’
He claimed, ‘I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s**t going on. So you just have to try and figure out life the best you can. You know, it’s a continuous process.’
Meanwhile, Bündchen flew to Costa Rica last week after ‘an epic fight’ with the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
However, she reportedly returned to Florida a few days back but still has not patched up things with Brady.
An insider told Page Six, ‘Gisele isn’t back with Tom.’
Additionally, they said, ‘She flew back to Florida to be with her kids but hasn’t been to their home in Tampa.’
The source added that while the rumors of the couple’s divorce are ‘not true,’ it is possible that their marriage might be heading in that direction.
