Terryon Ishmael Thomas, widely known as TikTok star Mr. Prada, was apprehended on October 1, 2024, in Dallas County, Texas, in connection with the murder of 69-year-old Louisiana therapist, William Abraham. Abraham was found beaten to death, and his body had been discarded in a ditch along a Louisiana highway. Investigations suggest the therapist died of blunt force trauma, with the authorities officially labeling his death a homicide.

Abraham’s body, wrapped in a tarp, was discovered on Sunday, September 29, along Highway 51 in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. The sheriff’s office confirmed that the injuries were severe, with Sheriff Gerald Sticker describing it as a “very violent death.” The brutal nature of the crime has left many shocked, especially those who knew Abraham as a gentle and kind individual. His attorney, Jarrett Ambeau, expressed disbelief, stating he never imagined something so horrific happening to someone like Abraham.

The day after the body was found, police in Dallas spotted the TikToker driving the victim’s stolen car, a black Lincoln MKZ registered to Abraham. While attempting to apprehend Thomas, he reportedly rammed the vehicle into police cars before fleeing. However, CCTV footage captured images of the individual driving Abraham’s car, and these images quickly went viral online after police released them. Social media users were able to identify the suspect as Thomas, known to his 8 million TikTok followers for his comedic content.

Thomas, a Baton Rouge native, gained popularity for his funny skits centered on dating and friendships. His content has garnered him a large following across two TikTok accounts. Despite his fame, Thomas now faces serious legal trouble. Authorities are investigating his involvement in the murder and the events that led to the death of the therapist.

The TikToker was arrested following a manhunt that began after his escape in Dallas. He now faces charges related to aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Thomas is being held in Dallas County, awaiting extradition to Baton Rouge, where he will likely face further legal proceedings.

Although Thomas is currently charged with offenses stemming from the stolen vehicle, law enforcement has not officially named him as the murder suspect. The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is still investigating his possible role in Abraham’s death and is working to establish a motive. Authorities are also examining cell phone data and license plate recognition to determine more details about the crime.

Interestingly, Abraham had a controversial past, including a 2015 arrest for allegedly inappropriately touching a young child during a therapy session, though those charges were dropped. Before his work as a therapist, Abraham had served as a Catholic priest for over a decade.

As the investigation continues, Mr. Prada remains a key figure in the case, and the outcome of his extradition and any further charges will be closely watched.
