Selena Gomez broke her silence over Hailey Bieber’s comments during a recent TikTok Live.

The 30-year-old singer indirectly and cryptically spoke about the subject without clarifying it forthrightly. 

She said, ‘I think some of the things that I don’t even need to be aware of are just vile and disgusting. And it’s not fair and no one ever should be spoken to in the manner that I have seen.’

Moreover, the Grand Prairie, Texas native referred to her new Rare Beauty matte lipstick collection called Kind Words.

She continued, ‘All I have to say is it’s incredibly ironic that I would release something that is all about kind words, ’cause that’s exactly what I want. That’s it.’

The Love You Like a Love Song singer added, ‘If you support Rare, I cannot thank you enough. But know that you are also representing what it means and that is…words matter. Truly matter.’

Additionally, she mentioned, ‘So it’s coming from me. I just want all of you to know that I hope that you understand that this is much bigger than anything else.’

The Only Murders in The Building actress concluded her message by saying, ‘I’m really grateful to all of you for hearing me out, so have a wonderful rest of your day, and I appreciate all the love. Thank you.’

Hailey Bieber denies stealing Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez

Hailey Bieber sat down with host Alex Cooper for this week’s Call Her Daddy interview. 

During the hour-long sit-down, the 25-year-old model discussed the love triangle between herself, her husband Justin Bieber, and Selena Gomez.

She claimed, ‘When he and I started hooking up, or anything of that sort. He was not in any relationship. It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship. I was raised better than that.’

Bieber also suggested that the Wizards of Waverly Place alum never publicly defended her against the online hate.

However, Gomez fans defended the singer by resurfacing a 2019 Instagram live where she asks her fans not to attack anyone.

At that time, she said, ‘I do not stand for women tearing women down. And I will never, ever be by that. So please be kind to everyone.’
