Fox News abruptly announced on Monday that Tucker Carlson had left the network. According to a statement from Fox News Media, Tucker Carlson has parted ways with the network. We thank him for his service as a host and contributor to the network. Fox News Tonight will take the place of Carlson’s signature show and air live on a temporary basis, as reported in the New York Post. Until a new host is selected, Fox News personalities will rotate hosting the show. Many fans of the political commentator were extremely disappointed by the news, with some saying the network made a big mistake by firing the host who has been with the network since 2009 and has been considered the face of the channel for many years.

Days prior to the announcement, Fox News’s parent company settled a $787 million defamation dispute with Dominion Voting Systems. The Fox News network has been compared to Bud Light by fans of Tucker Carlson’s now-cancelled show. Some viewers are threatening a boycott if Carlson isn’t reinstated. He learned of his firing from Fox News just before it was announced on Monday morning. It appears now that some Carlson fans, guests and conservatives more generally are displeased with the network’s decision. After Carlson was terminated from Fox News, Carlson’s fans attacked the network on Twitter. Fox News seemed to be on its way out amidst Carlson’s departure from the network, and many of his fans doubled down on the theory that the long-time host’s exit would further propel the network’s demise.

In shocking news, Fox News unexpectedly parted ways with Tucker Carlson and announced his last show will air on Friday, April 21. The news left fans of the political commentator extremely distressed, with some saying “Fox News made a big mistake” in terminating the host, who had been associated with the channel since 2009 and had been the face of the network. In the wake of Fox News’s parent company settling a defamation lawsuit worth over $787 million with Dominion Voting Systems, the announcement came as a surprise. There has been an agreement between Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson to part ways. In a statement released on Monday, April 24, the network thanked him for his service as a host and contributor. According to the New York Post, ‘Fox News Tonight’ will replace Carlson’s signature show and air live on an interim basis. Until a new host is selected, Fox News personalities will host the new show. As a result of Carlson’s firing, fans of the host took to Twitter to criticize Fox News. One wrote I’m dropping them; they’re the only news I watch. I’m done with Fox! stated the second user. A third user commented: I also cancelled my Fox Nation subscription. They oppose Trump.
Another fan claimed that there wasn’t a man onboard who could talk honestly about him, he claimed. An angry fan said that Fox News will regret firing Tucker Carlson from the network, and another said that it would be the biggest mistake the company has ever made. Social media users also shared ‘I stand with Tucker Carlson’ messages in support of Carlson. Fox News was heavily criticized for the firing of Carlson, but the network has been in trouble since Dominion Voting System filed a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against it after airing unverified claims of election fraud surrounding Joe Biden’s win in the 2020 US presidential election and claiming Donald Trump was unfairly deprived of his victory. A last-minute settlement, worth more than $700 million, has been reached between Fox News and Dominion just before the trial. A former federal prosecutor appeared on The Stephanie Miller Show after the settlement was announced and said, I think this could be the beginning of the end for Fox. He also predicted that Fox News would face more legal troubles and that there would be “more suits to come,” in reference to Smartmatic’s $2.7 billion lawsuit involving the network’s election coverage.

tucker did this to himself, he lied to the audience who listened faithfully to him every evening, he had no integrity at all, and it wasn't just one lie, he lied many, many times, and that is unfair to those who believed him.

why is everyone so surprised, Fox News was never on the side of average Americans. That must have been apparent to anyone paying attention, to the 2000 election cycle. Fox silenced Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and Tucker from reporting on the theft of the 2000 election.
