Taylor Swift’s dance steps during a recent performance on her Eras Tour have not lived up to fans’ expectations. A video posted by a fan on TikTok, captioned “she’s so underrated as a dancer,” shows Swift dancing awkwardly on stage. This video quickly went viral, garnering significant attention on X (formerly Twitter), where users mercilessly roasted her dance moves.

The viral video, which captured Swift in the midst of what many considered to be clumsy and uncoordinated dance steps, drew a plethora of reactions. Some users humorously compared her movements to those of a child. One comment read, “This is how my 8-year-old cousin dances after 2 Dr. Peppers.” Another user likened Swift to tech billionaire Elon Musk, writing, “Taylor Swift is Elon Musk for women and I will not be elaborating further.”

The critiques didn’t stop there. Some fans speculated that Swift might be dancing awkwardly on purpose to cultivate a more relatable image. One user commented, “No Swiftie hate but I do think she dances this awkwardly on purpose to give herself more of a dumb baby vibe instead of a billionaire who is actively draining resources vibe.” Others suggested that her fans might be too devoted, with one person stating, “Starting to think these people are straight up brainwashed.”

Taylor Swift’s dance moves also drew comparisons to Bollywood star Salman Khan. Desi users on X shared clips of Khan dancing, juxtaposed with Swift’s video, pointing out the similarities. One comment read, “This is how Salman Khan dances,” while another added, “Indian uncles dance better than her.”

Despite the criticism, Taylor Swift remains a powerhouse in the music industry. She recently celebrated her 100th Eras Tour show and announced that the tour would conclude in December. The tour has been a global success, with performances across South America, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

In addition to her tour, Swift released her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” in April this year. The album’s first 16 tracks dropped on April 19, followed by a surprise release of an additional 15 songs, making it a double album. The album achieved remarkable success, garnering 300 million streams on Spotify within a single day.

While Taylor Swift’s dance moves may not have impressed everyone, her musical achievements and the enduring support of her fan base continue to solidify her status as a global superstar. As she wraps up her Eras Tour, fans eagerly await her next move, both on and off the stage.
