The celebrated SNL star, Molly Shannon, is returning after nearly two decades away. The talented comedian hosted SNL on April 8 and was accompanied by the Jonas Brothers. For the second time this weekend, the “A Good Person” actress hosted Saturday Night Live, which featured the Jonas Brothers as musical guests. As the Jonas Brothers- Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas wore bright red clothes that matched those of Shannon O’Malley, the brothers twinned with the 58-year-old as they entered the stage.

She jokes with the singers, You look good boys after adjusting their outfits. Let’s now put a bonus in your Jonas, and she starts choreographing them. An episode of the show aired on April 8 showed Sally as the Jonas Brothers’ new dance choreographer, as the group became a Vegas resident. Sally’s popular moves are performed by the Jonas brothers wearing matching red pants. As a sketch, Shannon O’Malley made her first appearance on the show in 1999, and she quickly became the show’s most recognizable character.

Molly Shannon, a former cast member of “Saturday Night Live,” hosted the show for the second time, bringing back nostalgic memories. The NBC sketch show had Shannon as part of its repertory group for six seasons, during which she earned a nomination for outstanding individual performance in a variety show. Earlier this year, the actor starred in “A Good Person,” directed by Zach Braff. In addition, she will appear in Season 3 of HBO Max’s “The Other Two.” For those familiar with “Saturday Night Live,” Shannon is best known for playing Mary Katherine Gallagher, a Catholic schoolgirl with bizarre habits. Shannon starred alongside fellow “SNL” co-star Will Ferrell in a feature film in 1999. On “SNL,” Shannon returned as Sally O’Malley, a brash 50-year-old dancer characterized by her trademark red outfit and frizzy 70s hairstyle. She first appeared on the show in 1999 in a sketch about auditioning for The Rockettes. A scene from the episode airs on April 8 and features Sally as the new dance choreographer for the Jonas Brothers, who are about to embark on a residency in Vegas. A few moments later, Joe, Kevin, and Nick Jonas appear, dressed in matching red pantsuits, performing Sally’s signature kick, stretch, kick routine.

Despite over 20 years passing, Sally’s age has remained the same – a loophole Shannon attempts to close by telling Bowen Yang, Honey, I’m 50 since before you were born. It’s the best thing I’ve ever seen, one fan said. Molly Shannon, I love you so much. Yeeeees!!!!! Comedic genius #SallyOMally is back!, another commented, The BEST most hysterical scene ever! and a fourth person noted, Sally is still 50 and still has it! This is hilarious, wrote another. You and the Jonas brothers were great, and so was everyone at SNL. YOU ALL ROCK. In the aftermath of Shannon’s goodnight address, Devon Walker, James Austin Johnson, and Tom Powell held up black T-shirts with the names “Jones” and “Pearson” written across them. Democrat Justin Jones and Republican Justin Pearson were ousted on Friday by the Republican majority from the state House of Representatives. During last week’s gun control protest on the floor of the statehouse, Jones and Pearson were expelled as punitive measures.
