Sharna Burgess and Lindsay Arnold will sadly not be competing as pros in Dancing With the Stars Season 31.

Sharna Burgess will not return for DWTS Season 31 after welcoming her son
Sharna Burgess took to her Instagram handle to reveal that she has decided to leave Dancing With the Stars as the show gears up for its upcoming season.
She shared in her Instagram Story, ‘Hi, I have some news that I have to tell you guys because I keep getting so many DMs about it.’
Burgess continued, ‘After long conversations and lots of thinking and really trying to sit with what was right… I made the really hard decision to not do this season of D ancing with the Stars. There’s been a list that was been released saying that I would be a pro and I won’t be.’
The 37-year-old Australian ballroom dancer welcomed her first son, Zane on 28th June. She shares him with her boyfriend Brian Austin Green.
She later shared that she is not ready to stay away from her two-month-old as of yet.
Burgess wrote, ‘I am at 100% capacity with my body, I feel fit, I feel strong, I’m so ready to dance. I’m about to go to the gym right now.’
She further shared, ‘We’re going to talk about what that means and how I can be a part of [DWTS]. I was not ready to spend a minimum of 10 hours a day away from Zane.’
Lindsay Arnold opens up about quitting DWTS Season 31
Lindsay Arnold also broke the news on social media. She shared an image of herself with her husband, Samuel Lightner Cusick, and one-year-old daughter, Sage.
The 28-year-old mother tied the knot with her high-school sweetheart back in 2015.
Arnold admitted that she is deciding to sit out on the reality show because she wants to spend more time with her family and most likely expand it.
She wrote, ‘I wanted to let you all know that I have decided not to be a part of Dancing With the Stars this season.’
The professional dancer added, ‘As many of you know my family and I live in UT. In order to do DWTS I have to move myself and my daughter Sage out to LA and leave behind my husband Sam who works full time here in Utah.’
