Recently heart-breaking news is shared by Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O’Connor about her 17-year-old son. The name of her son was Shane O’Connor who has been missing in past and is now found dead.
By sharing a post on social media she wrote, “My beautiful son, Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the very light of my life, decided to end his earthly struggle today and is now with God. May he rest in peace and may no one follow his example. My baby, I love you so much. Please be at peace.”
After the announcement of Shane’s death was done on social media, Garda posted a statement. It was the official statement regarding the incident that happened with Shane to end their search investigation.
He wrote, “following the recovery of a body in the Bray Area of Wicklow on Friday, 7th January 2022, a Missing Person Appeal in respect of Shane O’Connor, 17 years, has been stood down.”

As per reports, on 6th January 2022, Thursday, Shane was reported missing by his family. He was kept on a suicide watch at Tallaght Hospital in Dublin and then after some time, he was not there. Shane’s disappearance from the hospital was taken as a serious matter and Sinead O’Connor threatened the hospital authority to file a lawsuit against them.
After the announcement of Shane’s death on Twitter, Sinead O’Connor also shared the post where she dedicated his son to the emotional lyrics of Bob Marley’s song Ride Natty Ride.
She wrote, “this is for my Shaney. The light of my life. The lamp of my soul. My blue-eyed baby. You will always be my light. We will always be together. No boundary can separate us.”
