Claire McCaskill took to Twitter to share an update on her 10-year-old grandson, who apparently underwent brain surgery. Nicolle D Wallace and Claire will be on Deadline White House later, the Missouri Democrat said. According to reports, Claire has eleven grandchildren in her extended family. It was just a day after his diagnosis of a brain tumor that she shared the shocking news about her grandson’s health. In a surprise announcement last week, the former senator announced that she would step aside until her 10-year-old grandson was treated for benign brain tumors. However, Claire did not reveal his name or any other details about him.

After his surgery was completed, she returned to Twitter to provide an update on his condition. He is doing so much better now. Currently in ICU, but hopefully will move to a regular room very soon. Claire wrote to thank you all for your prayers, virtual hugs, and positive thoughts. Since 2002, the Democrat has been married to Joseph Shepard. She has three children. It has been reported that most of Claire’s grandchildren are the children of her husband’s kids from a previous relationship. In 2018, Claire welcomed her 11th grandchild – her ninth grandson in a row.
