Selena Gomez took to the comment section of Lizzo’s latest post to praise the Truth Hurts hatmaker’s new blue hair on Thursday.

In addition, the 30-year-old crooner dropped a blue heart under Lizzo’s post.

If you didn’t know Lizzo unveiled her jaw-dropping new look in a recent video on TikTok. Moreover, the clip featured audio of Gomez back in 2007 where she gushed about getting an aqua streak in her hair.

Subsequently, Lizzo is seen playing with her new colorful locks while the voice of the two-time Grammy nominee continues in the background.

Gomez can be heard saying, ‘I’ve got some blue going on! I like a little edge, a little pop in my hair, so I wanted to add something different, especially for the Teen Vogue party.’

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old artist is seen wearing a fuzzy white robe during the recording. Additionally, she appears to have completed her make-up and hairstyle ahead of a performance in Milan. 

Besides that, The Wizards of Waverly Place alum has announced a social media break last week due to her apparent feud with Hailey Bieber.

She said, ‘I’m gonna be taking a second from social media because this is a little silly. I’m 30, I’m too old for this.’

The drama between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez seemingly began when a video of the former began resurfacing online.

Consequently, in the video, Bieber pretends to gag while discussing Taylor Swift with her co-anchor Method Man on Drop The Mic.

Hence, since then, users have slammed the 26-year-old model. They even went ahead to denounce her as a ‘bully’ and a ‘mean girl.’

Additionally, this forced Gomez to leap into the TikTok comments and defend her best friend Swift.

She simply replied with, ‘Sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.’

If you didn’t know, Gomez and Swift have been friends since 2008 when they were both teen stars and were dating two different Jonas Brothers.

Gomez also had an on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber from 2010 to 2018 before he tied the knot with Victoria’s Secret model.
