Liam Hemsworth has refuted rumours that he is suing Miley Cyrus for defamation. Australian actor allegedly sued the 30-year-old singer over her popular diss song Flowers, according to a false rumour spreading on social media this week. Miley Cyrus has been sued for defaming Liam Hemsworth after Flowers became a hit, according to a leaked document. Additionally, Hemsworth may lose his contract with Netflix due to the media attention surrounding Flowers, after Hemsworth stepped in for Henry Cavill on season three of The Witcher. Following the tweet, the account published leaked documents, supposedly from the actor’s legal team, as evidence of the defamation claim.

Based on the lyrics and music video of ‘Flowers’, the fake paper claims Hemsworth was humiliated and suffered damage to his image and income. However, it turns out that the purported legal document was fake and was generated by a website that generates documents and uses the same template as the fan account. There are two signatures at the top that are taken from Google, and the image is grainy and difficult to read, probably for the purpose of giving the impression that it is a real leak.

Miley Cyrus Is Not Being Sued By Liam Hemsworth Over ‘Flowers’ Since Documents Leaked Online Are False

A bizarre rumour claiming Liam Hemsworth is suing Miley Cyrus for defamation of character has been thoroughly discredited. There were false claims circulated on Twitter this week that Liam Hemsworth was seeking damages from the singer, 30, over her blockbuster diss song Flowers and its accompanying video filled with Easter eggs. A leaked document claims Liam Hemsworth filed a lawsuit against Miley Cyrus for defaming him after the single Flowers became a top seller. Hemsworth was also falsely quoted as saying he was about to lose his Netflix contract – after replacing Cavill in season three of The Witcher – due to the negative press surrounding Flowers. The account followed up with a tweet in which it shared ‘leaked documents’ from the actor’s legal team as evidence that a defamation claim had been filed. In the fake document, Liam alleges that Flowers’ lyrics and video damaged the singer’s public image and caused him humiliation. Despite this, the putative legal document was simply taken from a website that uses identical templates to the one used by the fan account. Both signatures at the top of the image were taken from Google, and the picture has been manipulated to look grainy and hard to read, probably to make it appear as though it is a real leak.

Fans are allegedly trying any method they can to keep Flowers at the top of the singles charts in a desperate bid to keep Cyrus in the limelight. ‘Miley stans’ believe the track will beat Ariana Grande and The Weeknd’s new remix Die for You, according to Reddit. It appears that Cyrus makes several swipes at her ex-husband in the hit song, which has remained at the top of the Billboard chart for six weeks straight. In addition to the song’s lyrics and video references to her relationship with Hemsworth, Cyrus released it on January 13 the same day as his 33rd birthday. In May 2012, Cyrus and Hemsworth got engaged, but they split up in September 2013 and reconnected in 2016. Their divorce was finalized in January 2020 after they married in December 2018. The Last Song, directed by Julie Anne Robinson, was a dismally received romantic drama at the time, and Cyrus and Hemsworth first fell in love on the set in 2009. One Cyrus fan called the release date ‘messy as hell’ following Cyrus’ fans’ belief that she had picked it deliberately as retaliation against Hemsworth. A new relationship has since developed between the actor and Australian model Gabriella Brooks.
