On Friday, Britney Spears returned to Instagram with an “awkward” video in which she ate cake off the floor and flipped off her 41 million followers. The 41-year-old said she accidentally pressed the wrong button after deactivating her account on Tuesday – something she’s done multiple times before. I know my Instagram has been down a few times this week, but honestly, I did it myself the last two times. A strange video was captioned by the singer. Her “goals” this year include becoming comfier around people, crashing a wedding and singing a few songs. I’m being treated equally for the first time in 15 years and thank God I didn’t know about this NO RULE policy!! Please excuse the blurry video!!! Does it seem awkward or weird to watch? The “Toxic” singer celebrated her birthday by drinking champagne on her living room floor decorated with rose petals and balloons to the song “Santa Baby” by Eartha Kitt. During one point of the song, the singer — who was wearing a red catsuit — stood up and danced to the music. Spears covered her entire face in frosting after shovelling her head into the birthday cake. Just one day earlier, Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari, addressed the singer’s social media hiatus on his Instagram Stories. As Britney deleted her social media for a couple of days, the “Gimme More” vocalist posted a surprising tribute to her “rousing” sister Jamie Lynn Lances, with whom she has been feuding for a long.

On Friday, 9th December Britney Spears returned to Instagram after a brief absence. She wore a tight red catsuit! During the video clip, Britney stunned in her red outfit as she danced around to Eartha Kitt’s memorable song “Santa Baby” on the floor of her mansion. At one point, she smeared white cake and frosting on herself, licked it off the floor, and even turned off the camera. During some of the videos, you can see a massive Christmas tree in the background. Brit celebrated her 41st birthday on 2nd December with her 28-year-old husband Sam Asghari in a bedroom filled with red rose petals and pink balloons. Accessorizing with a necklace and earrings, she also wore white knee-high boots. She danced sensually to the Christmas favourite with her long, blond mermaid waves falling around her shoulders.
Immediately, comparisons were drawn to her longtime friend Madonna, 64, who has been posting “shock value” videos on social media of late, including one featuring her licking water from a bowl. 30 seconds to Mars !!! As he captioned the video, the 41-year-old singer acknowledged its “awkward” impact and refused to back down. It’s my birthday all week, and even though my Instagram has been down a few times, I did it myself the last two times! My bad, I accidentally pressed the wrong button!
