Singer Sean Kingston, known for his hit “Beautiful Girls,” was arrested in California on Thursday after authorities raided his Florida home earlier the same day. The 34-year-old artist, whose real name is Kisean Paul Anderson, was apprehended near Fort Irwin, an Army base approximately 150 miles northeast of Los Angeles. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest to Page Six, stating that Kingston faced numerous fraud and theft charges.

In response to the raid and subsequent arrests, Kingston took to social media to address his fans. “People love negative energy!” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “I am good and so is my mother! … my lawyers are handling everything as we speak.”
