Sarah Michelle Gellar to appear in and executive producer Teen Wolf’s spin-off Wolf Pack

Sarah Michelle Gellar is trading vampires for werewolves as she joins the Teen Wolf universe in their spin-off show, Wolf Pack.

Sarah Michelle Gellar will star in Teen Wolf’s spin-off Wolf Pack  

The Teen Wolf universe is all set to get a couple of new chapters with their upcoming  Teen Wolf: The Movie and spin-off series Wolf Pack.

However, Sarah Michelle Gellar surprised everyone when she made an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con’s Teen Wolf panel on Thursday.

Furthermore, the ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ alum went on to share that she has joined the Teen Wolf expanding universe.

It was further revealed that she will be starring in Teen Wolf’s spin-off series called Wolf Pack.

The 45-year-old actress is returning to the supernatural realm and will be seen as an arson Investigator named Kristin Ramsey.

According to People magazine, Gellar’s character is an expert in her respective field and is ‘no stranger to personal loss.’

Moreover, she is called in by the authorities to hunt down, ‘the teenage arsonist who started a massive wildfire which may have also led to the reawakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles.’

Wolf Pack is based on Edo Van Belkom’s books of the same name. It will follow the story of two teenagers who find Theme in a wildfire that has awoken a supernatural beast.

It will feature Armani Jackson (Everett)  and Bella Shepard (Blake) as the main protagonists. They will be joined alongside Chloe Rose Robertson (Luna) and Tyler Lawrence Gray (Harlan).

Sarah Michelle Gellar to be an executive producer on Wolf Pack

Sarah Michelle Gellar further shared another exciting announcement during the Comic-Con this week.

Gellar will also serve as an executive producer on Wolf Pack. Furthermore, Teen Wolf’s creator Jeff Davis will return as the show’s writer.

Davis mentioned, ‘Everyone knows that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a huge influence on Teen Wolf.’

The 47-year-old producer added, ‘So I always thought it would be amazing if we could bring Sarah Michelle Gellar back to a horror show.’

The actress said, ‘Everything these guys have been saying about family and the atmosphere of Jeff’s shows is really true. I hope you guys come join us!’

During the Comic-Con they were joined alongside Teen Wolf’s original stars Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin. They will feature in Teen Wolf: The Movie which is scheduled to release this year on Parmount+.
