Lizzo has kept her dating life under wraps. Lizzo has confirmed to being in a relationship with Myke Wright after months of conjecture. She has been more candid about her love life since then.
Engagement rumors are started by Lizzo’s dazzling ring
During an interview with Andy Cohen in April, the Truth Hurts singer admitted to being in a romantic connection with an unnamed man. The identity of the unknown individual in Lizzo’s life was later revealed to be 34-year-old Myke Wright.
Two months later, on June 4, while attending an event for Lizzo’s Watch Out For The Big Grrrls, the singer uploaded a few photos and videos of the couple with her 12.5 million Instagram followers.
A beautiful silver ring appears to be resting next to a strange hand, which was later proven to be her beau and unconfirmed fiancé, Myke Wright, who was dressed in hot pink. Because the couple was dressed exclusively in black and pink, all eyes were drawn to Lizzo’s engagement ring.
Who is Myke Wright?
Myke Wright is a comedian as well as an actor. Tell Me What You Know About Cyrus, a short film released in 2019, and Doubting Thomas, a feature film released in 2018, are two of his most recent works.
The American comedian and the popular singer were first seen together in March 2021, according to US Magazine. In a Malibu house, the couple was spotted kissing and embracing.
Despite Lizzo’s denials, the two have been seen together on multiple occasions. Lizzo then revealed that she has been dating Myke, and she has only spoken about being “happy” since then.

Myke and Lizzo had known each other for a long time, even before Lizzo became famous. In 2016, the two performers collaborated as cohosts and stars of the MTV series Wonderland.
Wonderland’s series, according to Showbiz CheatSheet, enabled musical artists “establish a connection with their audience.” The two got along and formed a bond throughout their time as cohosts. Who’d have guessed the two would end up together years later?
