Bam Margera Is Dead- Rumors
On December 8th, 2021, Wednesday, people on Twitter started tweeting that Bam Margera had died. However, these rumors are not true at all. There are no reports of the 48-year-old’s death. For the knowledge of the people, he is alive and well. He posted on Instagram six days ago as well. Bam has just fallen victim to another celebrity social media death hoax.
How Did The Death Hoax Come Into Play For The Star?
The Bam Margera death hoax incident happened once previously. Back in 2018 when wrestler Hulk Hogan accidentally claimed that Bam died. Hulk shared his condolences on Twitter. He claimed that Bam, who was 38 at the time, had passed away.
“Damn Bam I wish you were still with us; I sure would like to hang out again my brother love u miss u HH,” he captioned a photo of himself with Bam. However, he realized he made a huge mistake and confused Bam with Ryan Dunn a fellow co-star and friend. Ryan had died in a drunk driving accident in 2011.
He then apologized in the following tweet, saying: “Got Ryan and Bam mixed up sorry Bam!!! HH.” Awkward! Since then, hoaxes wrongly claiming the skateboarder has died emerged on social media. Gladly, he is very much alive.
How Is Bam Margera’s Career Going?
After rising high in fame in the early 2000s, Bam was seen in an episode of H1’s Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn in 2016 that he had become an alcoholic addict. Later, in 2019, he appeared again in an episode of Dr.Phil He spoke about his issues with substance abuse which had begun after the death of his friend Ryan Dunn.
Eventually, in February 2021, he went live on Instagram. Bam revealed that he had drunk a glass of wine and seven beers before filming. Worried fans thought that he had slipped into alcoholism once again. Margera also mentioned he sometimes had suicidal thoughts. He spoke about it in the video. He even talked about his anger at being dropped from the 2022 film Jackass Forever.
Despite all this drama, he is still happily married to his wife Nicole Boyd and they have a 3-year-old Phoenix Wolf. Bam is active on Instagram and often shares photos of his life.
