The controversy began when Rihanna was seen dancing to GloRilla’s hit song “TGIF,” showcasing her admiration for the young artist. However, what followed left fans both amused and frustrated.
Last week, Rihanna went viral after a video surfaced of her rapping along to “TGIF,” further solidifying her status as a fan of GloRilla. Clarifying the confusion, Rihanna explained that the shirt’s full slogan was, “This is as dressed up as I get,” and reassured fans that she was not retiring from music.
Despite the lighthearted nature of her request to GloRilla, Rihanna’s fans remain eager for her next album. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna provided some hope, revealing that she has been working on new music. “I’m rediscovering things. I have been working on the album for so long that I kinda put all that stuff aside and now I’m prepared to go back in the studio. I’m gonna start — give me a second!” she said.
